It has been a fast moving story with word early on yesterday that major protests were happening outside the Swedish Parliamentary buildings on the day of the vote and the subsequent passing of the controversial law. The Lex Orwell law, which is also known as the FRA law, would allow a major supercomputer to conduct a major warrentless wiretapping program on the citizens within Sweden. Anything from internet communications to land-line communications would be monitored. The law passed last evening.
